Re:- Which Reg?

About the Poseidon Regulators, and pressure reliefs.

The Cyclon 2nd stage is downstream, and acts as a pressure relief.

The Jetstream is upstream and servo, so it doesn't. The pressure relief was
fitted as part of the hose connector. Over pressure pushes the hose against
a spring away from the 2nd stage so that it leaks.

The Triton is also servo, and the pressure relief is fitted to the 1st stage.

I think that all the Poseidon valves now use similar 1st stages with
pressure reliefs fitted.

It's all a matter of where you want the air to come out if the 1st stage
jams open.

As I understand it, the bigest problem with mix and matching regulators is
if you put together a combination with no pressure relief.
