Eilat
"Andy Tate" <tatea@ceu.hu>
Being quite new to this diving thing I hope someone out there will be
able to help me.
I live in Hungary and have registered for a PADI course in the
Spring. (As far as I know this will give me the most basic PADI
qualification - sorry for the lack of technical language !). This two
month course ends with a weekend trip to the Croatian coastline for a
"real" dive. (Living in a landlocked country doesn't help too much.)
Anyway to get to the point my girlfriend (who is also doing the
course) and I plan to go to Eilat in the summer. She is mad about
dolphins and there is a special area at Eilat where it is possible to
swim with them, etc. Has anyone been there or had any experiende of
diving at Eilat ? Any tips ?
Also, we will be coming back to England over the Christmas break, and
I would like to have a look around a couple of specialist diving
shops in London. Again any recommendations ?
My final plea for information concerns travel agents that organise
diving holidays, as I guess this would be the cheapest way of
arranging accommodation, dives, etc. Do clubs normally organise their
own trips (in which case would there be any way of joining these), or
are there travel agents that deal with this sort of thing ?
I'd appreciate any info. regarding the above.
Thanks
